We are proud to announce that a joint research paper from the INFINITE project, led by our partner Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU), has been recognised with a “Best Paper Award” at the 10th International Conference on Advances in Sensors, Actuators, Metering and Sensing (ALLSENSORS 2025), held from May 18 to 22 in Nice, France.
The awarded paper, titled: “Free Space Microwave Stress Sensing in Composites with Ferromagnetic Microwire Inclusions”, was selected as one of the conference’s best based on the quality of its original submission, the final camera-ready version, and the oral presentation delivered during the event.
This recognition highlights the cutting-edge innovation and scientific impact of the INFINITE project, particularly in the area of non-contact, wireless monitoring of composite materials using ferromagnetic microwires — a key technology developed within the project for smart and sustainable aerospace structures.
As part of the award, the authors will receive a digital certificate and an invitation to publish an extended version of the paper in one of the peer-reviewed IARIA Journals, extending the visibility of the project’s research even further.
We warmly congratulate the UPV/EHU team for this achievement and thank all contributing partners for their excellent collaboration.
This award reinforces INFINITE’s commitment to scientific excellence, cross-disciplinary innovation and the development of advanced sensing technologies that support the transition toward a more intelligent and circular aerospace industry.
